The questions you should answer when considering a scholarship offer

CAPTIONS:

“You received a scholarship offer – should you accept it?

This is one of the most common questions I get from athletes I help with their recruiting.

There’s 4 main things athletes should consider when getting an offer:

1) What is your interest in the school?
2) What is the scholarship amount?
3) Where are you in the recruiting process?
4) How much time is the school giving you to decide?

The answer to each of those questions will help you decide if it’s an offer you should accept.

However, if you’re not familiar with the recruiting process and how scholarships work it can be difficult to know if you should accept a scholarship offer.

ScoutU athletes are informed on the recruiting process and how scholarships work and can ask us any question at any time to help them make a decision on whether accepting a scholarship offer is in his or her best interests.
