Evaluations

Jaxon Ward is a 2029 center at Alexandria High School and a fundamentally advanced interior offensive lineman for his age. He plays with consistent footwork, efficient hand placement and strong body positioning, and he routinely puts himself in the correct position pre- and post-snap. He demonstrates a high football IQ, understands leverage and plays with discipline and control in both the run and pass game.   Physically, Jaxon is continuing to develop his strength and speed and has invested in private training to build the functional power needed to generate displacement at the point of attack. He also attends offensive line development workshops to further refine his skill set. Jaxon brings toughness and composure to the line of scrimmage and, while he’s not a soft player, the next phase of his development is becoming more consistently aggressive and imposing on first contact.   In the classroom, Jaxon carries a 3.8 GPA and is a recipient of the Dream Leadership Award. He’s also been selected to compete in the 2025 True Talent All-American Game and the 2026 Dream All-American Game, reflecting both his current ability and long-term projection. — Clay Miller, ScoutU Football Scout, Clay@ScoutU.com, 216-258-2396

Message from Jaxon

My name is Jaxon Ward. I attend Alexandria Senior High in Louisiana, and I will graduate in 2029. I am 5’9”, 220 pounds, and I play offensive line including center. I was named to the Dream All-American Football Classic in 2025 and 2026. I currently have a 3.8 GPA and take my academics seriously because I know school comes first.   One thing that makes me different is that I’m always listening and watching. I am a quick learner and very coachable. Even coaches who have only worked with me for a weekend have told me that. I stay humble and I follow instructions on and off the field. I train 5-6 days a week, either with a personal trainer or on my own. I love lifting weights, and you can usually find me in my home gym on the weekends. I recently started boxing, and it has pushed my conditioning and toughness to another level.   Off the field, I care about more than just football. I am a strong advocate for autism awareness. My little buddy Danny, who is my youth coach’s son, is stage 4 non-verbal autistic and he inspires me every day. I also volunteer at The Manna House where we prepare and serve meals to homeless individuals and families in need. I try to lead by example and represent my family, school and team the right way.   Thank you for taking the time to read this and for considering me as a future part of your program.
