Jaxon Ward

Jaxon Ward is a 2029 center at Alexandria High School who displays an advanced technical foundation for his age. He plays with consistent footwork, efficient hand placement and sound body positioning. Jaxon demonstrates a high football IQ, understands leverage and plays with discipline and control in both the run and pass game.   Jaxon has made a significant commitment to his development this offseason. In addition to private sports performance training to improve his strength, speed and functional power, he has worked specifically on the center position with a position coach and trained under a prominent offensive line coach. He has also continued to challenge himself through multiple offseason camps, gaining valuable reps and exposure against different levels of competition. That combination of position-specific instruction, physical development and competitive experience should accelerate his progression as an interior lineman.   On film, Jaxon’s technique and understanding of the position stand out. As his strength and explosiveness continue to develop, the next step is translating those physical gains into greater displacement at the point of attack and becoming a more consistently aggressive, imposing presence on first contact.   Jaxon carries a 3.8 GPA and is a recipient of the Dream Leadership Award. He was also selected for the 2025 True Talent All-American Game and 2026 Dream All-American Game.
