Message from Hannah

I’m Hannah Forester, 5’11” guard from Ambassador Christian School in Huntersville, North Carolina, where I will graduate in 2027 with a current unweighted 4.0 GPA. I primarily play Wing and Shooting Guard, but my size, speed and versatility allow me to contribute wherever my team needs me most. I plan to study Sports Psychology and Criminal Justice, and I take pride in balancing academics, athletics and personal growth with a strong work-hard, play-hard mindset. I’ve scored over 1,000 points in my high school career, averaging 9.5 points, 3.3 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.7 steals per game.   Growing up in my family, I developed a drive to compete with parents who were both Division I athletes and high school basketball coaches, and older brothers who taught me to love taking contact. My plan is to work out every day unless my body needs a rest, which I learned from attending PGC Basketball camps each year to grow my on-court leadership skills, game IQ and drills to elevate my game. Outside of practice, I lift weights 3-4 days/week for 30-45 minutes, work on speed and agility 2-3 days/week for 30-45 minutes and shoot every day for 45 minutes to an hour.   Academically, I’ve pushed myself by taking AP and Honors classes and adding college courses this year, and I’m on track to earn my Associate’s Degree by graduation while making the President’s List last semester. Community service also matters a lot to me, shaped by living in Africa when I was eight, and I now volunteer with organizations like Special Olympics, food banks, women’s shelters, and Feed the Hunger, where I am a Packathon Pro.   Thank you for taking time out of what I know is a very busy schedule to learn about me.
