What is a college coach’s primary focus when recruiting a game or tourney?

“When college coaches go to tournaments, showcases and games, their primary focus is not to discover talent but to evaluate talent they already know about.

If they don’t know about you before the event, it’s just pure luck if they happen to see you play.  College coaches have a game plan before the event of who they are going to watch and that’s who they go watch.

If you’re not on that list, they likely won’t see you play.”
