Evaluations

Sophia is a dynamic attacking player who excels on the wing, using her speed and skill to take defenders on 1v1 and create space for dangerous service into the box. She takes pride in constantly improving her game through extra technical work and dedicated training.   Her focus and determination extend beyond the field, as she is a strong student in the classroom with aspirations to pursue a degree in Business or Law. Sophia’s exceptional pace has also made her a standout in track, where she competes in the 800m and 1500m. With her drive, athleticism and work ethic, Sophia would be a great addition to any program. She’s very excited to continue her development on the soccer field in the years ahead. — Mackenzie Schissel, ScoutU Soccer Scout, Mackenzie@ScoutU.com, 256-283-1160

Message from Sophia

My name is Sophia Arrigo, a 2028 graduate from Schuylerville Central School District in New York. I am a versatile player who excels at Right Wing, Left Wing and Center Attacking Mid, using my speed and passing ability to create and finish plays. I have been playing club soccer since I was 12, and I absolutely love the game and the thrill of competing at a high level. Academically, I have maintained a 4.0 GPA and plan to major in Business or Pre-Law.   I am a multi-sport athlete, competing in both soccer and track, and I bring a strong work ethic, determination and passion to everything I do. I train year-round with the Saratoga Wilton Soccer Club and work weekly with SABI Coach, where I focus on technical development, finishing drills and position-specific training to sharpen my game. While balancing a busy athletic schedule, I have consistently earned High Honor Roll recognition. Outside of athletics, I also run a small nail art business for women in my community and girls at my school, showing my entrepreneurial spirit and leadership skills. I am excited to bring my love of competition, strong work ethic and positive energy to the college level.   Thank you very much for your time and consideration. I am excited about the possibility of joining your program and contributing to your team’s success.
