Evaluations

Paige Major is a solid 2023 from California with a ton of potential. Paige is very athletic and able to play multiple positions where the team may need her. As a catcher, she’s solid behind the dish. She has exceptional framing and blocking skills with a quick transition and a big arm (sub-1.8 pop time). Runners better choose the right pitch to steal on if they’re going to have a chance. She’s also a very good middle infielder, better suited for the right side. Her speed (2.9 to 1st) allows her to cover the middle, as well as defend the short game. Great attitude and teammate who works extremely hard to perfect her craft. Paige projects well but is looking for the perfect fit to get a quality education, and I think she’d be an asset on any roster. — Jason Lauren, ScoutU Scout, 414-303-7607 (cell), Jason@ScoutU.com

Message from Paige

My name is Paige Major, and I am a 2023 C/2B from Hesperia, California. I attend EM Speed and Power, which is a sports-based school, while Method Schools is my online academic provider. I maintain a 3.93 GPA. I attended Sultana High School my freshman year where I made the varsity softball team. One of my main academic goals is to maintain Honor Roll throughout my high school years.

Most of my time is spent playing with my travel ball team, E1 Prospects Robinson 16u. We have won a few championships and been close on others, but what matters most is what we take away from the game. For me, it’s being a team leader and building a stronger connection with my teammates each time.

I can be a leader on and off the field as well. I love giving back to my community! I have done work with Feed the Hungry through a local church, gone to retirement homes and helped the residents play BINGO, and placed flags on fallen heroes’ grave sites for Veterans Day. I am also a brand ambassador for Her Game Sports, an empowerment for girls in sports. During my little spare time, I like to hang out with friends and family and cool off in my pool. Thanks for viewing my profile, and I hope to chat with you soon!
