Evaluations

2027 SG Luke Rowe from North Ridgeville H.S. is a big-time shooter! He’s had multiple games as a sophomore with 25+ points and 5+ three-pointers made. This guard can penetrate to the basket, finish strong, and has a very good handle. He definitely has flavor and is very shifty with his moves. Luke is good off the dribble for pull-up jumpers and behind the arc. He also is reliable getting his teammates the ball when they have a better shot.   Luke is a solid defensive player – can still improve on his defensive intensity – but other than that, this kid can go! As a sophomore, he’s the best player on varsity and is making a big name for himself in the state of Ohio. This is a strong prospect who works extremely hard on the court. Luke reminds me of Gabe Cupps (Indiana University) right now. A knockdown shooter and playmaker with the grit and toughness to back it up. In the next year, he could be the best shooting guard in the state of Ohio! Coaches – this is that guy you need on your team. — DJ Blanks, ScoutU Basketball Scout, DJ@ScoutU.com, 216-990-8617

Message from Luke

My name is Luke Rowe, and I am a 6-2 guard starting on varsity for the North Ridgeville Rangers in Ohio. I graduate in 2027, and my current GPA is 3.4. I plan on majoring in business during college. I recently received MVP in a school tournament, and I’m the only player on my team to regularly play every minute of the game. I have been selected to be the shooting guard of a Puma Circuit team for this spring and another AAU team with many of the top players in Ohio.   I excel in every aspect of the game, and I am a tough cover for opponents because I can shoot and go the basket at a high level. I outrebound most of my teammates, and I’m also not afraid to give the ball up when I know a quality shot or drive is available for a teammate. I have had 6 three-pointers in numerous games, and I’m on my way to breaking the school record. If you follow my Instagram, you’ll see the many 6 a.m. training sessions I put in. I work 6 days a week, every week. I always train before or after my school practices. In my personal life, I help my parents run a non-profit for kids called Basketball Changes Lives where we provide free basketball opportunities, food, clothing and mentoring to kids in our community.   I am grateful to play basketball, and I want to be a part of helping a college program win and become greater. I will be a team player, and I will put my full effort into helping my coach, teammates and our school be the best we can be. Thank you for taking the time to read this, and I look forward to connecting with you.
