Message from Grace

I am Grace Hoyle, a 2030 pitcher, first and third baseman. I throw right and hit left, while standing 5’6” and weighing 150 lbs. I’m naturally in tune with my body – both mentally and physically – which has helped me grow as an athlete in so many ways. I’m currently in 8th grade at Oak Valley Middle School, where I hold a 3.8 GPA. I’ll be attending Del Norte High School starting in August 2026. My fastball is currently 58 mph. During my 2025 club season, I had a .470 BA, .559 OBP, .691 SLG, 58 RBI and 46 runs.   What sets me apart as an athlete is not just my dedication on the field, but the way I consistently push myself beyond scheduled practices. Whether it’s private hitting, pitching and fielding lessons during the week or working on my own at home or the team facility – I spend over 10 hours/week working myself. The solid foundation I’ve built from daily repetition allows me to know when a movement in my body is off and how to quickly correct it. I was inspired to start pitching by older girls in my first league, and now I love giving back by volunteering at practices and helping younger players with their pitching. I’m always asking questions, picking my coaches’ brains, and looking for small details and adjustments – feedback is something I seek out and genuinely enjoy. I also work with a mental trainer who’s helped me stay positive, bounce back quickly and learn from every experience.   Thank you for taking the time to view my profile. I appreciate your time and consideration.
