Barrett Cole

My name is Barrett Cole, and I attend Marinette High School in Wisconsin. I currently stand 5’4” and weigh 128 pounds. I am a 2026 shortstop and second baseman with a 3.9 GPA and a 21 on the ACT. I plan to major in chemistry in college. I made 1st-Team All-Conference as a junior (59 mph infield arm, 72.5 mph exit, 58.3 mph bat speed, 11.1 home to home). is What sets me apart is my strong work ethic and determination to not only meet goals, but to exceed them.   What makes me stand out as an athlete is my calm attitude on the field, even when a play or an at-bat doesn’t go the way I planned. I understand that failure is part of the game, and I focus on using those moments to grow and come back stronger. Beyond practices, I put in extra work almost every day in the cage with tee work, soft toss and the pitching machine, and I also travel 1 hour to Green Bay for group workouts with other athletes to push myself further.   Academically, I am ranked 12th (of 151) in my class, while also being a member of the National Honor Society and taking a full load of college-level courses such as Pre-Calc and English 101. I take pride in my leadership both on and off the field, setting an example with a positive mindset, serving on Marinette’s Athletic Leadership Team, Student Senate, and Sources of Strength, and I give back through volunteer work in my community.   Thank you for taking the time to read my message and for considering me as a potential recruit for your program.
