Evaluations

6’2” PG Aditya Ganesna (also known as Vijay) is a player to watch from Florida Coastal Prep. After watching several games of this kid – he can play! Has a nice pace to his game from slow to fast, and has killer dribble moves with a quick cross & go or stop and go moves to blow by defenders. Is a tough point guard at his size with his long frame and rhythm to his game. The kid has some “swag” in his style and can score over other point guards due to his size and length. He’s really good at getting downhill and finishing at the basket with both hands or nice floaters in the paint over bigs.   Aditya has max confidence in his shooting ability, and I can tell he puts time in the gym with his array of different shots. Very solid catch-and-shoot 3 mechanics, smooth pull-up jump shots and his favorite move (which I love) is his spin fade mid-range pull-up that’s lethal! He caught a lot of aggressive defenders slipping with this move and made it seem effortless. Because of his style of play he makes the defense collapse, which leads to him making tons of plays for his teammates, using his court vision and high IQ to make the right reads for the best shot. Aditya played high-level AAU in the Nike EYBL circuit for Bates Fundamentals, which is a big-time program. He does amazing off the court holding a 4.4 GPA. Sky is the limit for this kid – I can easily see him after a year of D2 or JUCO ball and performing, he will get a low/mid-major D1 to take a chance on him. — DJ Blanks, ScoutU Basketball Scout, DJ@ScoutU.com, 216-990-8617

Message from Aditya

My name is Aditya Vijay Ganesna. I am a 6’2” point guard in the Class of 2026 from Plymouth (MN), currently playing for Florida Coastal Prep National. We compete in the Grind Session Elevation Conference and the SIAA at the national level, where I average 10 points/game and 5 assists/game. For AAU, I play with Bates Fundamentals EYBL on the Nike EYBL circuit. I hold a 3.87 unweighted GPA (4.4 weighted) and I plan to major in Mathematics at the collegiate level. As a player, I am a pass-first PG who can score when needed. I play with poise, break down defenses with my handle, and bring a high motor every possession.   What separates me is my determination. No matter the obstacle or goal in front of me, I commit fully and see it through. Outside of practice, I am consistently in the gym 2-3 additional times per day, whether that’s skill development with a coach, structured workouts, or getting extra shots up on my own. I hold myself to a disciplined standard and approach every workout with game-level intensity.   Academically, I challenge myself at the highest level, completing 11 AP courses along with 20 dual-enrollment college classes. By the time I graduate, I will have completed most of my undergraduate mathematics coursework, reflecting the same work ethic I bring to basketball.   Thank you for taking the time to view my profile. I appreciate your consideration and look forward to connecting with you.
