“ScoutU and DJ Blanks were instrumental in our daughter’s recruiting process. Not only the exposure aspect – but a wealth of knowledge and support throughout the process. Our daughter’s confidence grew with each email or text from college coaches wanting to learn more. We began her recruitment with ScoutU the summer before her senior year, and our only regret is wishing we found ScoutU and DJ Blanks earlier! Thank you!”

“DJ was extremely caring, and we could tell he had Paige’s best interest at hear. He was very easy to reach and talk to whenever we needed throughout the process. He wanted to be kept in the loop about all the coaches who reached out and when we had visits. Paige had a lot of coaches contact her, and she had a lot of questions that DJ was always able to help with.”

“After narrowing it down and visiting her two favorite colleges, she got offers from both and was also given offers from a couple other schools she talked with. Paige is very happy with the college she will be attending and so are we as parents. Without ScoutU’s help, she would not have been looked at by all the schools that reached out. We are very grateful that DJ found us when he did! ScoutU made this process so much easier than trying to do it ourselves. We’d highly recommend DJ and ScoutU!”

“Trayten’s sophomore year marked a pivotal juncture, as he began to play to his potential, surpassing expectations and solidifying his position among the top players. But he was still going unnoticed. Upon entering his senior year, we anticipated college offers to come quickly; however, despite visiting multiple colleges, attending camps and participating in showcases – still nothing. All the money invested and all the time, we were feeling discouraged and unsure what to do. It was at this juncture that DJ Blanks reached out to Trayten, expressing interest in assisting him.

Initially we were skeptical, given our past experiences with similar entities. Following our call with DJ, he did a great job explaining the process and told Trayten what he needed to work on to be the best player he could be. He was right – within an hour after the first nationwide exposure, Trayten received a text from a coach expressing interest in discussing potential opportunities. Within a day, he had been contacted by eight different coaches, conducted two phone conversations and received multiple messages on social media. Within two weeks, Trayten secured his first offer, followed by a second offer on the same evening and then a third offer within a few days. The pivotal role of ScoutU in facilitating these developments cannot be overstated. DJ’s guidance and support have been instrumental throughout this process, providing invaluable coaching and counsel. We extend our sincerest gratitude to DJ and ScoutU.”

“DJ and ScoutU was able to get Trayten’s name to coaches and places that we couldn’t as parents. ScoutU’s connections and knowing basketball at the next level helped place Trayten with a coach and team that was the right fit for him. I think Trayten’s work ethic, on and off field attributes and his athletic skills are all things that helped college coaches be interested in him. Watching his games, they can see clearly that he is talented but knowing how he is in the gym by himself and in the classroom were all things that DJ was able to explain to coaches and make him a more valuable college player.”
