Evaluations

Torrence Dahnke is a 2026 RHP/OF from the Houston area. Tori has exceptional command and control for her age and is already tossing mid-to-upper 50s. At the All-American Games, Tori had 14 strikeouts in 6 innings. In the outfield, Tori has gap speed with a big arm to keep runners honest. Offensively, Tori hits for average and sees the ball well, rarely striking out. As she continues to grow and develop, Tori will have the chance to compete on any roster.

Message from Tori

My name name is Tori Dahnke, and I attend school at Crosby Middle School and will graduate at Crosby High School in 2026. I play for Texas Shock National 16U as a pitcher and outfielder. In December 2020, I got the best pitcher award in the All-American games out of my graduation year, and I had a .429 batting average during my 2021 club season.

On my select team, I primarily play pitcher. I can throw a lot of different pitches such as fastball, change-up, curve, screw, drop and rise. My fastball is 60-62 mph and my change-up is anywhere between 35 to 40.  My secondary position is anywhere in outfield that you need me to go.

Outside of school and softball, I also do cheer for our middle school cheer team. Between softball and cheerleading, I think I stay in pretty good shape, including working out at home when I get free time. I have been working and practicing my entire life for this sport, and I strive to work more and harder, I am determined to become a better player this season by setting more goals for myself, such as getting my pitching speed in the 60s.

I believe that I could show you that I am a committed softball player and would love the opportunity to tell you about my dream to play college softball. Thank you for reading this!
