Evaluations
5-foot-6, 130 pounds. 2028 RHP/MIF/UT. Bats R. Throws R. Many pitches with similar velocities to keep hitters off-balance, with her changeup (44 mph, hits outside corners and moves around the zone, accurate and strikeout pitch) being best pitch. Very accurate and hits corners. Averages 6-8 strikeouts a game, but also forces ground balls and pop-ups. 57 mph fastball with great spin (1,357 rpm on 2-seam). 56-57 mph dropball with LATE drop. Hits top corners with riseball (working on getting it to jump more). Working on increasing velocity. At the plate, has a quick swing and can drive on inside pitches (0.13 on contact, 19.0 hand speed, 17.8 rotational acceleration, 67 mph exit, 53.8 mph bat speed, 79% on-plane efficiency). Singles/extra-base hits and gap-to-gap hitter. Good eye. Has speed (3.01 20-yard dash) to bunt for hits. Working on strength to generate more power. At 2B, has a good glove with quick hands and a quick release with a side-arm throw (55 mph infield; 58 mph outfield). Smart player. Hard-working. Attends performance facility, lifts weights at home, has 2 cages in a shed at home that hits in almost every day. Self-motivated. Team player. Coachable (takes advice well, listens, observes). Excellent student (4.0 GPA).

Tenleigh is an absolute delight to coach, and any program would be lucky to have such a hardworking, positive, and naturally talented athlete. Her talents are extremely versatile and can contribute almost anywhere on the softball field. She will confidently pitch, play infield, hit powerfully & situationally, bunt, and run the bases with intelligence and speed. Her success on the field comes from a rare combination of relentless motivation and natural athleticism. Her change-up disrupts even the best batters, her two-seam fastball is well placed and moves naturally, and with the right warmup, her riseball can be highly effective. Defensively, Tenleigh is impressive at 2B, leading the right side of the infield with strong softball instincts and consistently dependable fielding. Very few balls get past her, and she plays with high-level awareness. She consistently makes hard and accurate throws and is quick to adjust misthrows. Her glovework is smooth and allows her to make efficient transitions.
On offense, Tenleigh is a disciplined and adaptable hitter. Tenleigh hits consistently up the middle while also being able to drop a bunt when needed. Her speed allows for a heightened OBP and allows her to collect extra bases on hard hits. While Tenleigh already possesses natural power in her swing, she has untapped potential in her lower half. With further refinement, she will unlock even greater hitting power and consistency.
Tenleigh’s strengths lie not only in her athletic ability but also in her outstandingly positive attitude. Like any competitive athlete, she holds herself to high standards, but what sets her apart is how she channels setbacks into motivation. She clearly uses mistakes as opportunities to learn and immediately puts in the work to improve. She plays the game with a smile and is never afraid to fail. Whenever a teammate is down or lacking confidence, Tenleigh is the quickest to be the loudest motivator when someone needs a boost. Above all, Tenleigh plays with gratitude – for her opportunities, her teammates and the game itself. Her attitude, work ethic and skill set make her an invaluable addition to any team.
