5-foot-8, 140 pounds. RHP/MIF. Bats R. A ton of pitching experience (pitching lessons since 6 years old). 62.2 mph fastball (6.9-inch vertical break, moves around zone and locates well). Best pitch is curveball (60.2 mph, 5.5-inch vertical break, 2.5-inch horizontal break; locates very well on edge of strike zone; swing-and-miss pitch). 57.2 mph 2-seam fastball with 1,365 spin. 59.7 mph riseball (1,119 spin, 2.4-inch horizontal movement, rises late, can throw inside or outside). I’ve had the great pleasure and opportunity to be Teagan’s private pitching instructor since she picked up a softball at 7 years old. It certainly has been a true joy to watch Teagan grow physically and mentally on and off the field. Teagan has learned what it takes to be a dominating, strong and commanding pitcher. She continues to put all her time, energy and hard work into perfecting her softball skills. More importantly, Teagan is a caring individual who finds ways to inspire her teammates to be their best as well on and off the field. Teagan is simply one of the most special athletes I’ve ever worked with. Her unbelievable command of her pitches is something to watch. Her calm, cool demeanor and confidence is something you can’t teach. She embraces challenges that come her way with a great sense of humor and maturity while continuing to learn and understand what it takes to fulfill her dream of playing college ball and receive a great education.
— Jean Rivett, Pitching Coach
Athletic Strengths: Teagan’s mental approach to the game of softball is unparalleled. No matter the situation, she never gets too high or too low. Teagan bounces back from adversity stronger and shows great resilience each time she steps onto the field. She has demonstrated consistently to be the leader of her team. She feeds her teammates with great positive energy from the first pitch to the very last. Each and every season Teagan’s work ethic gets stronger – she consistently gets stronger year after year. Her skill set is sharpened every year, making her a vital asset to any team she is on. She’s shown the ability to play multiple positions from pitcher to outfield and middle infield. She’s grown as a pitcher and has the ability to be dominant. Her spin and control are among the best I have seen.
Areas to Improve: If Teagan is going to have a position in the lineup offensively, she will have to improve her discipline at the plate. She needs to work on keeping her drive foot stationary while pitching.
Intangibles: Teagan is a phenomenal athlete, leader, teammate and person. She instantly makes any team better by her presence alone. She has always set the example for the younger girls to follow and strive towards. Her work ethic is awesome, and she might be the most coachable athlete I’ve had the privilege of working with. She always has an inquisitive ming and listens to the feedback we’re providing on and off the field. Teagan had a skill set that will make any college program better.

Contact: Teagan’s improvements with hitting have been on a steady increase. She is capable of adjusting to different pitches. It’s nice to see a pitcher be able to hit and have the confidence to hit in the 3/4 spot of the lineup. Her ability to identify her pitch to swing at is something she has worked at getting better at.
Power: Ability to hit the long ball is there. She’s also able to get in a sneaky bunt which keeps the defense on their toes. Would like to continue to see improvements on putting the ball in play because the potential is there. I have seen great improvements on her ability to have power with her swing. She will continue to work on up ball pitches.
Pitching Elements: Teagan’s pitching is one of her greatest strengths. Her ability to throw the ball where she wants is something she prides herself on. She will continue to work on her velocity and to control the location – she will dominate in the circle.
Teagan has come a tremendously long way with her confidence. Watching her grow into a tall, confident pitcher has been exciting. She communicates well and is able to hold her own. She’s continuing to develop her “pitcher mentality.” She is not so easily frazzled in the circle. We will continue to work on her spin. Breaking pitches is where her strength lies and we need to continually make that happen. Speed and velo on her fastballs are increasing at a great pace.
Athleticism: Teagan brings a high level to the team. She is positive and encouraging to others. She can control her emotions on the diamond.
Potential: Observing Teagan’s growth from last year (mid-summer) through fall/winter of 2024 has been exciting to watch. Her confidence level is on the rise and she’s starting to have faith in herself and her pitching. Once she fully buys into her potential, she will only become a better pitcher!
Work Ethic: If Teagan could pitch every inning of every game she would. Her work ethic is never in question. What we need to work on is rest in between tournaments. She needs to understand the body and mind need a break once and a while. She is starting to identify the benefits of taking small amounts of time for herself.
