2027 PG Bassy Wofford from Cathedral Prep H.S. is a true point guard. What really impressed me with his game was his passing ability and making his teammates better around him. Bassy’s ball handling is very good, and he has a plethora of moves to make plays for himself and his teammates. His composure and poise as a point guard is awesome to watch as a younger player with a lot of potential and confidence. Another thing that really impressed me was his outside shooting ability from pull-up jump shots to catch and shoot 3s. He has a pretty form, and I can tell this kid puts a ton of time in the gym.
Bassy has a ton of potential and plays as if he’s an upperclassman. He also holds a 3.4 GPA and gets it done off the court. Bassy is a great on-ball defender and causes a lot of problems for opposing guards with his hustle and toughness. His dad also played D1 basketball, and I can tell he’s learning from the best and absorbing a lot of tricks and skills from his father.

My name is Sebastian (Bassy) Wofford, and I attend Cathedral Preparatory School in Erie, PA. I am a 2027 PG standing 5-9 and weighing 154 pounds. I maintain a 3.4 GPA, demonstrating my commitment to academic excellence.
I approach both my academic and athletic pursuits with dedication and seriousness. My goal is to play college basketball while earning a degree in Sports or Business Management. I have received numerous athletic awards, including MVP of our 2023 PA Diocesan State Championship team and Team Captain as we posted a 44-0 record from 2021-23.
I’ve played for nationally ranked AAU teams, currently in the Puma Circuit with SPS, and also for Dribble Kings. I am a highly skilled point guard who excels in my role on the team. While I prioritize scoring, I am also known for my selflessness on the court, always striving to set the tone for my team and contribute to our success. I am receptive to feedback and willing to learn and grow, which translates to most importantly, being coachable!
I prioritize my faith, family, education and personal growth as a basketball player. I actively contribute to various community initiatives and strongly believe in the importance of giving back.
