Evaluations

2027 QB Ryan McGrath is currently starting for his varsity team as a sophomore. This kid plays beyond his years – much more mature than he looks. He has the potential to play at either the D1 or D2 level with the right program. Ryan can throw it long and also hit the right reads on intermediate passes. Also has a great feel for the game and is a true leader and captain on his team.   Last fall, he totaled 811 passing yards, 6 touchdowns and another 262 rushing yards. He’s a great student-athlete to have in your program. Ryan has all the capabilities and skills to play at the next level. Coaches – this is your guy! — DJ Blanks, ScoutU Scout, DJ@ScoutU.com, 216-990-8617

Message from Ryan

I am Ryan McGrath, a 2027 quarterback from Adirondack Central School District in upstate New York. I’m a 3-sport varsity athlete, also playing basketball and baseball. My desire after high school is to major in business and play college football. I started on varsity as a sophomore (as the starting QB and at safety). I was selected as an Honorable Mention All-Star for the quarterback position (NYS Class C Section III-East). My strongest feature is the accuracy I have with passing. However I have a great ability to run, with multiple coaches commenting on my strength and speed.   In school this year I hold 3.0 GPA and I’m taking Advanced English. As a junior, I will begin taking dual-credit courses, earning college credits in high school. One thing that I feel sets me apart from other athletes is my strong sports IQ. I often have my coaches ask me what plays to do, what defense to be in, etc. I study my own film to learn what I can do better or differently, but I also watch my opponents, so I’m fully prepared going into each game.   Overall I feel that I have the athletic ability and sports knowledge to make me successful at the collegiate level. Thanks for reading, and I am eager to hear from you.
