Evaluations

Riley Yeskie has only been golfing for three years, so he’s just beginning to tap into his ability. Hitting the ball over 300 yards, he’s able to give himself a distance advantage on most holes. At last spring’s Rolling Meadows Invite, Riley earned second place with a career-low 75.   Riley currently hits about half his fairways and greens, but I expect his consistency to improve with continued practice. He possesses a simple, powerful swing and good touch around the greens. The main area where he can shave a few strokes off his average is putting. Since Riley is very dedicated to working on the game, his best scores are still ahead of him. — Jon Feyen, ScoutU Golf Scout, Jon@ScoutU.com, 920-979-3093

Message from Riley

I’m Riley Yeskie, a dedicated 2025 student-athlete at Fond du Lac High School in Wisconsin. With a GPA of 2.7, I have my sights set on majoring in Business/Golf Management, with a strong focus on the business side. This summer I’ve been actively participating in tournaments, consistently averaging around 79 with my driving distance being 310 yards. I’ve been identifying and working on my weaknesses to achieve lower scores and dedicated my spare time to honing my skills. During the spring season, I achieved a commendable 2nd place in the Rolling Meadows Invitational with a score of 75.   My hard work and commitment to self-improvement have led to significant progress in a short amount of time. Starting golf at the age of 13 at my home course, Rolling Meadows, has instilled in me a sense of control and determination in pursuing success. What drives me in golf is the direct correlation between hard work and personal success, and I take full responsibility for my journey. Simultaneously, I have been employed at the golf course since April, utilizing its resources to enhance my skills daily. When not working, I spend most of my time on the course, continuously striving to better my game.   During the offseason, I transition to playing hockey for Fond du Lac H.S. The discipline and fitness from hockey significantly contribute to my growth and drive in golf. Additionally, I find great fulfillment in being a part of the Student Ambassador Program, guiding new students through their high school experience and representing the student body.   Thank you for taking the time to get to know me. I’m excited about the prospect of leveraging my dedication and passion to contribute positively to my future endeavors in both academics and athletics.
