Reis Von Ruden

I am Reis Von Ruden, a golfer from the 2026 class at Middleton High School in Wisconsin. I’ve averaged a 74 score during my junior season. I’ve also maintained a 3.87 GPA over the last three years. Recently I took 11th place (73-75) at the WIAA State Tournament. As a student-athlete, I am dedicated to refining and advancing my skills in academics and golf.  What’s important to me is being a good ambassador of the game on and off the course.   My strengths in golf are my physical ability, tee to green, short game and putting. I’m currently 6-foot-2, which has helped me with more power and swing speed. I receive swing lessons and course/mental management from Derek Schnarr, Golf Pro at Blackhawk Country Club. When not practicing or competing, I’m still surrounded by golf through working at Blackhawk CC and teaching/mentoring kids at Pleasant View GC.   After playing various sports throughout my life, including most recently basketball and soccer, I am committing 100% of my athletic time to golf going forward. This means competing in tournaments year-round throughout the country. This summer I’m competing in AJGA, WSGA, and WPGA Junior tournaments and am looking to spend time competing outside of WI in the offseason. Ultimately, my goal is to play at the collegiate level in 2026. I love the game, I respect the team part of the game, and I want to continue advancing my skills in golf.   Thank you for your time in viewing my profile.
