Evaluations

2026 guard Nate Davis from Aurora High School (OH) is an athletic shooting guard with huge upside. He is strong at getting to the basket and finishing through contact. He’s also very athletic for his size (6-3) and can throw it down. He is a good mid-range shooter, especially using his pull-up jumper. Great at getting elevation off his jump shot by using his athleticism.   I’m really impressed with Nate’s rebounding and defensive toughness. This kid wants it, and I can tell he is a winner. Would be a great program player for any university and will only get better and better as time goes on. He also handles business off the court with a 3.2 GPA. He’s a very good kid off the court – but on the court his toughness comes out and he’s tough to guard. — DJ Blanks, ScoutU Basketball Scout, DJ@ScoutU.com, 216-990-8617

Message from Nate

My name is Nate Davis, and I’m a 2026 6-foot-3 guard/forward from Aurora High School in Ohio. I hold a 3.2 GPA and plan on majoring in marketing and business. At the next level, I think I can bring outstanding leadership and understanding – along with my superb shooting ability. I averaged 17 points, 6 assists and 5 rebounds per game during my AAU season.   I am a highly coachable athlete who understands the game well. You tell me where you want me and how you will use me – I will do just that. Tell me one thing to do, and I will make it the best one thing you will have anyone do on the team. I spend countless hours outside on my own hoop (until midnight) or in a gym just working on my game getting better. Even if it’s lifting or basketball, I’m working. We typically have workouts for 90 minutes in the summer for school, but I choose to go and do more on our off days for maybe even an hour longer. In my extracurriculars, I always do things to give back to our community such as being a counselor for kids basketball camps and the overnight camps kids have for 6th grade. I also work with kids at a rec center.   Thank you for your time in reading this. I’m excited for the opportunity to contribute to a program where I can continue to grow both as a student and an athlete, and I’m committed to bringing hard work, leadership and dedication to the next level.
