Evaluations

Nadia Cho is a high-performance student-athlete with a 4.0 GPA, exemplifying excellence both on the field and in the classroom. As a RHP with a 51 mph fastball, she boasts an advanced pitching repertoire that includes a drop curve, curve, screwball, fastball and changeup. Nadia’s greatest strengths lie in her ability to spin and locate pitches, consistently challenging hitters with precision and movement. Her curveball is particularly dominant, complemented by an excellent change that keeps batters off balance. Defensively, she excels as a third baseman, utilizing her agility, quick reflexes and a 52 mph overhand throw to handle bunts and secure outs at first. Her range and reliable glove make her a standout at 3B, with the versatility to play middle infield positions as well. At the plate, Nadia demonstrates remarkable consistency, striking out only 4-5 times last season and making contact in nearly every at-bat. Her speed (Home-to-1st in 3.2 seconds) adds a dynamic element to her offensive game.   In addition to her physical skills, Nadia possesses exceptional intangibles that set her apart as an elite athlete. A natural leader, she brings contagious energy and positivity to her team, always supporting and uplifting her teammates. Her understanding of the game allows her to adapt quickly to challenges, and her composure under pressure makes her a reliable asset in critical moments. Nadia’s dedication to continuous improvement is evident in her relentless work ethic and coachability. She thrives on collaboration with teammates and coaches, demonstrating a team-first mindset and maturity beyond her years. Nadia Cho’s combination of technical prowess, academic excellence and leadership qualities make her a standout prospect who is ready to make an immediate impact in any collegiate program. — Susan Kemper, ScoutU Softball Scout, Susan@ScoutU.com, 604-808-5215

Message from Nadia

My name is Nadia Cho, and I am a 2028 RHP/3B attending Plainview Old Bethpage JFK High School in New York. I am 5’3” and weigh 105 lbs. I currently have a 4.0 GPA and I have not yet decided on my major. I have a high IQ for the game, and my work ethic is strong to constantly improve.   A special quality about me is the energy and support I bring to the dugout. No matter the day, good or bad, I enjoy being up on the fence cheering for my teammates and love seeing my teammates and friends succeed. I’m always working on my game to be the best I can. I engage in strength training 4 times a week, as well as several days of individual work and lessons.   Academics are one of my top priorities and I take them very seriously. As of right now I am enrolled in Honors courses for all of my core classes, and I’m scheduled to take 3 AP courses during my sophomore year. Beyond athletics and academics, I am a delegate in the Model UN program and will be a teaching assistant at a local summer camp.   I appreciate the time you took to view my profile – thank you!
