Marissa Tomashek

My name is Marissa Tomashek, and I am a 2025 graduate at Shawano Community High School in Wisconsin. I’m a 5-foot-7, 140-pound lefty outfielder (61 mph OF, 66 mph run & gun) who also plays first base. I slap for power and base hits, drag bunt (2.97 20-yard, 11.97 home-home) and swing normally in games. My skills on offense set me apart – from using my speed to get on base, and also bringing runners in when needed. As a junior and sophomore, I earned our team’s Silver Slugger Award as the team’s top hitter. I have a 3.97 unweighted GPA, ranking 10th out of 187 in my class.   Being a very determined athlete makes up who I am. From having a very strong arm, being diverse in hitting and always being a leader that cheers on my teammates. I’m constantly improving my game by lifting at least three times/week for 1 hour specifically towards certain muscle groups, hitting off a tee daily, watching my film and going to the field a few times a week to work on fielding and placing the ball with my slapping. On the student side, I take college medical classes, and I’ve been on High Honor Roll freshman and sophomore year. Outside of class, I help freshmen struggling with school, help improve our school through student council and volunteer with younger girls and boys to teach them more about football.   I appreciate you coach for taking the time to view my profile!
