Makenna Goch

Makenna, “Mak,” is any coach’s dream addition with her strong family support, a 4.0 GPA and the work ethic of a true student-athlete. Mak is super athletic, loves to compete and works at it! A strong infielder with a 60 MPH overhand throw and agility to cover a wide range. She hits from the right side (64 MPH exit) and has speed down the line.   Mak enthusiastically approaches her role as a student-athlete. She is a committed teammate and embraces innovative approaches to all programs, not only turning ideas into action but volunteering to share those ideas with her younger peers. She is quick to solicit feedback, provides constructive criticism, is open to learning and takes the time to gather information regarding new ideas and techniques. She is a natural leader, and her knowledge of the game is unmatched. Mak is always eager to learn and wanting to push herself outside of her comfort zone, so she’ll be the first to ask how she can do better next time. She began training as a utility 2 years ago and has thrived in her new role.
