Evaluations

Maddi Fletcher is a well-rounded golfer from the 2026 class. Only playing since 8th grade, she’s developed solid ball-striking and a scoring average in the high 70s. Maddi is one of the top players in Wisconsin’s Division 2, winning the Regional Championship twice and Conference Player of the Year each of the last 3 seasons.   Maddi was recovering from a foot injury last year, so she’s continuing to add distance off the tee. She hits about half her greens in regulation, and with improved putting I expect her to cut several strokes off her average. Competitiveness is no issue for Maddi – she played in 15 tournament last summer and led the WI Girls Tour in total points.   With a 4.0 GPA and several AP classes, Maddi’s academics make her a valuable recruit. She is involved as the Secretary for her National Honor Society and also volunteers in the community. Maddi is open to any college opportunity with a strong team environment and great education. — Jon Feyen, ScoutU Golf Scout, Jon@ScoutU.com, 920-979-3093

Message from Maddi

My name is Maddi Fletcher, and I am a 2026 golfer from Viroqua High School in Wisconsin. Academically I have a 4.0 GPA, and I’m currently undecided on my major but leaning towards art. I began playing golf in 8th grade and have since worked very hard to become the best player possible. As a result, I earned Conference Player of the Year and won the WIAA Regional Championship each of the last 3 years. At the WIAA D2 State Tournament this fall, I shot 78-75 for second place. I finished my senior season with a 77 scoring average.   I consider myself to be a very determined and mentally strong athlete. In the offseason, I spend my time at the golf course practicing, taking lessons from my swing coach, and playing in events hosted by the Wisconsin Junior PGA. My favorite part about golf is competitions, and I play as many as I can in the summer. Last year, I led the WI Girls 16-18 Tour with 365 points to earn WPGA Junior Tour Player of the Year.   Along with golf, my education is very important to me, as I scored a 25 on the ACT. I’ve taken multiple AP classes and have been awarded Academic All-State twice. I am also an officer of the National Honor Society and dedicate time to volunteering in my community.   I appreciate you taking the time out of your day to view my profile. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
