Evaluations

Leah Reiter has an incredible work ethic and potential in the 2027 class. She is a very good athlete and an even better student, holding a 3.7 GPA. At 5-7 and 130 pounds, she has the size and potential of a college prospect. She performs in the 60-meter (8.11), 100-meter (13.34) and 200-meter (26.84). She continues to improve her times, and every day is putting in the work consistently to be the best version of herself. Leah is never satisfied and wants to be the very best!   After speaking with Leah, her ultimate goal to run track at the D1 or D2 level. I’m looking for big things, including PR’s, this season and I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s a bunch of colleges interested by the spring. Leah is a great kid and student. She’s also very coachable and is willing to do whatever it takes to be successful. — DJ Blanks, ScoutU Scout, DJ@ScoutU.com, 216-990-8617

Message from Leah

My name is Leah Reiter, and I am thrilled to introduce myself as a dedicated 2027 track athlete with an unwavering commitment to both my sport and academics. I am a student at Big Walnut High School in Sunbury, OH. Over the past few years, I have achieved significant milestones, including qualifying for the USATF Junior Olympics, the New Balance Outdoor Nationals, and the New Balance Indoor Nationals.   My primary events are the 60m, 100m and 200m, where I have consistently improved my times through disciplined training and a focus on technique. Recently during the offseason, I have been training in hurdles, triple jump, long jump and high jump. I look forward to competing in these events this upcoming season.   In addition to my athletic accomplishments, I take pride in my strong work ethic and academic performance. I maintain a 3.7 GPA, demonstrating my ability to balance my Honors coursework with my training schedule. During the offseason, I have been training four days a week on the track along with two days in the weight room.   I am excited about the prospect of joining a team that values hard work and teamwork, and I am committed to contributing my strengths while growing as an athlete and student. I look forward to learning more about your program!
