Kamille Kautz

Kamille Kautz is an exceptional 3.8 GPA student-athlete who embodies the attributes college programs seek in a recruit. As a shortstop, Kamille takes charge of the field with confidence, constantly communicating with her teammates and ensuring everyone knows the next play. Her leadership on the field is evident in the way she builds up her team, maintains a high energy level, and directs play. Kamille’s ability to collaborate with catchers and anticipate game scenarios make her a key asset on defense. At 2nd base, her quick footwork, excellent range and fearless approach to diving plays establish her as a defensive force. Her exceptional field awareness and understanding of game dynamics allow her to read hitters and make adjustments on the fly, which speaks to her high softball IQ.   Kamille’s athleticism and versatility shine through in her ability to excel at multiple positions. Her cognitive learning style enables her to quickly adapt to new information and situations, making her a coach on the field who knows everyone’s rotation and responsibilities. Offensively, Kamille is a power hitter with a 63 mph exit velocity and .433 batting average. As a varsity clean-up hitter during her freshman year, she delivered in clutch moments to solidify her place as a key contributor to her team’s success. Kamille has a home-to-1st time of 2.8 seconds and a home-to-home time of 13.0, combining power with speed, which makes her a dynamic player on the base paths.   Kamille’s leadership extends beyond her skills on the field; she is the kind of teammate who leads by example and brings out the best in those around her. Coaches praise her for being a “player-coach” and for her ability to maintain composure under pressure, which are qualities that translate well to the college level. Voted SSC All-League Second Team as a freshman, Kamille has already established herself as a standout player.
