Message from Kaitlyn

Hi, my name is Kaitlyn Nickel, and I am a 2025 graduate at Maple Ridge Christian School in British Columbia. My main position is first base, and my secondary position is utility. I was named the 2023 Maple Ridge Christian School Athlete of the Year, I have a 2.78 home-1st time and a 60 mph infield arm. I hold a 3.6 GPA and intend to study criminology at the college level.   I am a multi-sport athlete who also enjoys playing basketball and volleyball. I have played softball for the past 10 years. Whether I am playing sports or in the classroom, I am told by coaches and teachers alike that I am a natural leader. I work hard to use my leadership ability to encourage my teammates and peers, while also exemplifying sportsmanship and a positive attitude. I am a very coachable player. I take direction, advice and any critique well. I always work to make myself, my teammates, classmates, and my game better.   I would like to thank you for taking the time to read this short introduction to me. I would greatly appreciate any opportunity to speak with you further about your softball program.
