Evaluations

5-7, 145 pounds. 2026 RHP/1B. Bats R. Earned varsity letter as a freshman after starting the season out on JV. Called up to varsity 1/3 through the season and become team’s No. 1 pitcher as the team’s only freshman. 64.7 mph fastball (1,626 spin, locates well, moves around the zone). Dropball is best pitch with late movement (57 mph with 10.5-inch vertical break, 2.1-inch horizontal break and 1,410 spin). Strikeout pitcher. Changeup (42.9 mph, 1,488 spin) drops late and can throw for strikes or in dirt. Working on taking a few mph off of her changeup. Also working on a riseball (not throwing in games yet) and improving velocity and spin. At the plate, is a disciplined power hitter (74.8 mph exit, 60 mph bat speed), makes consistent solid contact and lays off of riseballs. Bats No. 4 or 5 in lineup to drive in runs. Good bat path (stays in zone a long time). At 1B, strong at scooping balls, has good reaction time in gets in front of the ball. Vocal on the field. Cheers on teammates even if having a bad game. Strong work ethic (gets personal lessons every week for pitching and hitting, does performance training, practices at home and watches game video of herself to see what can improve). Coachable (likes to get feedback on what needs to improve; always looking to get better). Very good student (3.6 GPA). — Jason Lauren, ScoutU Scout, 414-303-7607 (cell), Jason@ScoutU.com

Message from Kadence

My name is Kadence Meyers. I am a 5-foot-7, 150-pound RHP (64.7 mph fastball, dropball with a 10.5-inch vertical break and changeup) who also plays 1B (74.8 mph exit velocity, 3.25 20-yard dash). I earned 2nd-Team All-Conference during both my sophomore and junior years. I am a 2026 graduate from Shawano Community High School in Wisconsin (3.6 GPA). I am currently undecided on my college major but know I want to do something in health science. During the club season, I play for Impact Sports Academy out of Green Bay.   I find myself to be very competitive, highly motivated, and always striving to be better in everything I do. At a very young age (8U), I tried out for our town travel team. After not making the team and being told I did not have the necessary skills they were looking for, I did not let that stop me. I worked 10 times harder in the off-season with my dad. The next season, I tried out again and my previous coaches were stunned on the level of growth I had. I was used as the primary pitcher the next summer. I put forth that passion and drive in everything I do.   Outside of my scheduled practices, I complete softball focused workouts at Impact Sports Academy for at least 4 hours per week. I also have private pitching and hitting lesson.  When weather permits, I enjoy getting on the dirt and pitching to my dad. I also set up the bow net in our garage and work on my hitting form weekly. I earned my varsity letter as a freshman. In addition to performing on the field, I am currently on high honor roll at my high school. I enjoy spending time volunteering at Impact Sports Academy and assisting with younger softball athletes.   I fell in love with softball at a young age and have never looked back. Thank you for taking your time to view my profile to learn more about myself. I look forward to learning more about you and your program.
