Evaluations
OF/2B. 5-foot-1, 116 pounds. Bats L/slaps, throws R. Fast (2.81 20-yard dash). Leadoff/No. 2 hitter. Very athletic (has been a figure skater since 3 years old). Switched to slapping in Spring 2023. Soft slaps and bunting are strongest. Places soft slaps well and can chop slap. Bunts about 25% of the time, mostly down the 1st-base line (working to improve push bunts). Slaps all the time and doesn’t swing away. Excellent base stealer (95% success rate). Aggressive baserunner. In OF, has very good range, not afraid to dive, communicates well and can throw out runners at 1B from right field with how quickly she throws. Reads ball well off the bat. 60 mph OF arm. Working to improve handling line drives hit right at her. Excellent student (4.0 GPA).

Jordan Roth is an exciting young player. She is extremely fast on offense and defense. Jordan is sure-handed in the outfield and is not afraid to make diving plays when needed. She has an outstanding throwing arm and a quick release. She’s absolutely fearless and the type of player that every coach would want. Jordan continues to get better offensively, and all she really needs to do is put the ball in play, but she’s also developed some ability to drive the ball to the gaps and is only getting better. Jordan plays the game the way it’s supposed to be played. She seems to always make hustle plays and generates momentum for the team on a regular basis.
