Evaluations

Izabella Perreault is an elite multi-sport athlete from Canada with a natural talent for softball, standing out as a catcher and versatile defender. With an overhand throw of 65 mph and a pop time of 1.93 seconds, she demonstrates advanced arm strength and quick transfer ability behind the plate. Her defensive range extends beyond catching, as she excels at third base and in the outfield, where she’s earned the nickname “Tracker” for her ability to secure fly balls. Offensively Izabella is a power hitter, consistently delivering results in the cleanup spot with a exit velocity of 70 mph and 50 career home runs. Her presence in the Quebec Invitational Tournament and Team Canada tryouts reflects her high-performance pedigree, while her agility, speed and strength (honed through flag football and volleyball) further reinforce her athletic profile.   Beyond her physical attributes, Izabella has an exceptional ability to process and apply coaching feedback, allowing her to continuously elevate her game. Her strong work ethic, competitive mindset, and composure under pressure make her a true leader on the field. She thrives in high-stakes moments, demonstrating strategic decision-making and a relentless drive to succeed. A dedicated student-athlete, she is focused on improving her GPA to align with her NCAA aspirations, underscoring her commitment to both academic and athletic excellence. Coaches seeking a high-impact player with a championship mentality will find in Izabella a resilient competitor who is fully prepared for the demands of college softball. — Susan Kemper, ScoutU Softball Scout, Susan@ScoutU.com, 604-808-5215

Message from Izabella

I am Izabella Perreault, a 2026 recruit from École Secondaire du Chêne-Bleu in Pincourt, Quebec. I am graduated from high school in spring 2025, and I am taking a gap year. I stand 5-foot-7 and my primary position is catcher (65 mph overhand, 1.93 pop), but I also play 3rd and right field (70 mph exit velocity, 50 career home runs). I hope to major in sports management or business. I am a dedicated team player, having received the “Player with the Best Team Spirit” award four consecutive years, which says a lot about my dedication and positive impact on and off the field.   I have been playing softball for 13 years and I’ve developed a huge passion and love for the sport. Last summer I was selected to play in the U17 LFFEQ team (Québec All-Stars) during the Québec Invitational during July, with that being a big accomplishment for me. I have a great work ethic, an immense passion for softball, and I’m always willing to put in the extra effort to reach my full potential. Even though I have a learning disability (2.0 GPA), I do not let that define me. I work hard to stay on top of my studies and have earned awards for my perseverance. I love to volunteer at the food bank during Christmas – it is something I really look forward to every year. I also really enjoy coaching softball. It’s so rewarding to share my passion and see younger players improve and get excited about the game.   Thank you for taking the time to read about me. I appreciate your attention and look forward to any feedback you might have.
