Emma Golde

Emma Golde is an exceptional catcher who brings a unique blend of talent, intelligence and leadership to the field. With a pop time of 1.66 seconds, and a 68 mph exit velocity, Emma is a force to be reckoned with both offensively and defensively. She started catching in the 2nd grade and quickly developed a passion for being in control of the game. Emma’s ability to communicate effectively with her pitchers and teammates is unparalleled, making her an invaluable leader behind the plate. Her loud, commanding presence and unwavering focus ensure she consistently keeps the game in check, no matter the situation.   Emma is a student of the sport, always striving to learn and improve. Her coachability, coupled with her cognitive learning style, makes her a favorite among coaches who appreciate her dedication and willingness to take feedback to heart. She is highly motivated, regularly attending camps and clinics to refine her skills, and her private training sessions demonstrate her commitment to continuous growth. Emma’s ability to maintain a “poker face” during games, locking in and giving her best every time, speaks to her mental toughness and resilience.   Playing on an 18U team at age 14, Emma has proven that she can compete at a high level and adapt to challenging situations. Her secondary position at shortstop and her love for playing 3rd base showcase her versatility on the field. Off the field, Emma’s 3.8 GPA reflects her academic excellence, and her involvement teaching younger students and volunteering with special education students highlights her leadership and commitment to giving back.
