Eastyn Barnes is a sophomore at Highland Community College in Kansas. He’s a righty with good size and clean delivery. Eastyn is a hard worker both in the classroom and in the weightroom. This fall, he switched to full-time pitching and he’s working on getting stronger to see a jump in velo. Any 4-year would be lucky to have him, as he is a great teammate and possesses all the intangibles a coach would want. I see him being a tremendous asset on any roster.

Message from Eastyn

My name is Eastyn Barnes, and I am a 6-foot-2, 205-pound RHP. I’m currently a sophomore at Highland Community College (KS). I just recently moved to the Pitcher Only role and am now throwing from a low 3/4 arm slot. I top 85 MPH fastball and sit 82-84 with a 2136 spin rate, and I’m working on getting bigger and harnessing my skills to throw harder. I am dedicated in the classroom (3.8 GPA) and understand the importance of getting a good education.   I’ve had baseball in my life for as long as I can remember. It has taught me that you will fail, but how you adapt and learn from those failures is where you grow as a player and person. I would not be the player I am today without the support of my family, coaches and teammates.   I appreciate you taking the time to learn more about me, and I look forward to hearing from you soon.
