Evaluations

Carson Hull is a 2025 recruit that’s really shown improvement during his junior year. He played his best at the Conference Championship, shooting a 75 for medalist honors. With his 117 MPH clubhead speed, Carson drives the ball 300 yards and hits half his fairways.   Since Carson has only been playing golf for three years, he still has room to grow with his short game. During his first big event this summer, Carson shot 80-79 at the WPGA Junior Championship. He hits about 50% of greens and averages 32 putts per round. Carson prides himself on his consistency and avoiding any big numbers – proving reliable for his team.   Carson is ramping up his tournament schedule for 2024 and is dedicated to dropping his average closer to the mid-70s. He’s looking forward to challenging himself against the best players at the next level. Carson is also a tremendous student, recording a 3.9 GPA (many advanced classes) and 28 ACT score. — Jon Feyen, ScoutU Golf Scout, Jon@ScoutU.com, 920-979-3093

Message from Carson

My name is Carson Hull, and I will be graduating in 2025 from Fond du Lac H.S. in Wisconsin. As a student-athlete, I take my academics just as seriously as sports with a 3.9 GPA. I intend to major in mechanical engineering. I averaged a 78 in summer tournaments this year. I’ve identified my weaknesses and focus on improving them to lower my scores. During the spring, I made 2nd-Team All-Conference and earned medalist at the conference tournament with a 75.   Having a dedicated work ethic, I’ve improved drastically in a short amount of time. My love for golf started at age 14 at our home course, Rolling Meadows. Working at this golf course since last summer, I have used my resources to practice as much as possible and make the most out of my time. Like my dedication to golf, I try to get the most out of the opportunities I’m given in school. I scored a 28 on the ACT and am taking advanced-level courses, already collecting college credits as a junior with AP Physics, AP U.S. History, AP Language and Pre-Calculus. I have been on the honor roll every year of high school. I intend to take more Honors and AP classes my senior year to obtain the most college credits I can while still in high school.   I have filled this summer with many tournament opportunities to work on what I consider the biggest part of golf – mental toughness. I plan to make the most out of these competitions by gaining experience and fine-tuning my capabilities. After tournaments, I go to my local course to continue practicing, work on my weaknesses and build the muscle memory of the success I had during the round. Golf helps me fuel my competitiveness. I strive to get better than others and keep practicing until I do. Even when not playing competitively, I like to play with others more skillful than I am. I enjoy the challenge and feel it makes me work harder to be a better player.   Thank you for viewing my profile, and I hope we can get in touch shortly!
