Bennett Madson has a very high ceiling and counted several rounds in the 60s last year. He possesses a technically sound swing with tons of power (320 yards). On tighter layouts, Bennett hits 3-wood off the tee and still places it past his playing partner’s driver.
Bennet’s father says he “lives at the golf course,” and that dedication shows. He’s gotten better at minimizing his mistakes and keeping cool in tough moments. During his junior season, Bennett delivered for his team with a 74 at Sectionals and a closing 75 at the State Tournament.
Off the course, Bennett holds a 3.1 GPA and expects that to continue rising. He already earned college credit for Calculus and is currently taking two advanced classes. Bennett’s college ambitions stem from his desire for tougher competition and to maximize his potential. He’s ready and willing to learn from upperclassmen as he develops into a reliable team leader.

Message from Bennett
My name is Bennett Madson, and I am a 2025 recruit from Notre Dame Academy in Green Bay, Wisconsin. I am 6’4” and weigh 175 pounds. With a GPA of 3.1 and ACT score of 23, I’m looking to major in business. I averaged a 75.8 during my junior season, earning All-Conference and placing 23rd (81-75) at the State Tournament.
I work hard and practice golf every single day during the summer, always finding ways to improve my game. During the school year, I try to play as much golf as I can. What sets me apart from most golfers is my ability to hit the ball far (320 yards) and make a lot of birdies. Throughout high school, I’ve challenged myself with AP Statistics, honors college credit Pre-Calc, and two years of International Baccalaureate English classes. I’ve been the #1 player and leader of our golf team during my sophomore and junior years, and I plan to continue leading the team this coming spring.
I’m excited about the opportunity to play college golf because I want to face tougher competition. Thank you for considering me for your program, and I hope we can talk soon.
