Evaluations

Aubrey Rose is a young phenom who is turning heads as a RHP with a blistering 55 mph arm. Starting her journey in baseball at just 4 years old, Aubrey’s passion and dedication propelled her to elite status, earning the prestigious Athlete of the Year award at her school. With five years of pitching experience under her belt, Aubrey dominated as the top pitcher on her team, racking up 178 strikeouts last season. Her pitching repertoire features a fastball, changeup, drop, and curve that she delivers with consistency and precision.   Aubrey’s talents don’t stop in the circle – she’s a force to be reckoned with at the plate as well. Last season she crushed 17 home runs, proving herself as a power hitter who can change the game with a single swing. Her consistent ability to get on base makes her a valuable asset to any lineup. Academically Aubrey is just as impressive, maintaining a 4.0 GPA.   Defensively, Aubrey is a wall at shortstop, with quick footwork and a laser-accurate arm. Her overhand throw is already 54 MPH and climbing, making her a dual threat at both her primary and secondary positions. Aubrey Rose is not just an outstanding athlete; she’s a game-changer, a leader, and a top prospect with limitless potential. Any college program would be fortunate to have her on their roster. — Susan Kemper, ScoutU Softball Scout, Susan@ScoutU.com, 604-808-5215   Aubrey is a full package athlete. She is highly respected by her teammates for her leadership, work ethic and positivity. Aubrey takes control of her circle, hits her spots and has incredible skill as a defensive pitcher. She is known for her diving catches, quick reflexes and a cannon of an arm. She is a force on the bases with speed and aggression. In addition to hitting 17 home runs and being a highly skilled pitcher, Aubrey has the unique ability to play any position (other than catcher). I’ve had the privilege to coach Aubrey for 5 years. She is highly coachable, appreciative, represents her team and sport with integrity, and elevates everyone around her to reach their next level. — Amanda Emans, Abbotsford Outlaws Coach   I am currently Aubrey’s pitching and hitting instructor, training her privately once to twice a week for almost 3 years. I’ve seen Aubrey demonstrate natural athletic ability in the circle and in all sports. I personally believe pitching is where her overall strength lies. Her softball IQ is very high, which is a massive asset. She is agile, strong, quick, powerful, composed and gritty – one of the most coachable athletes I have worked with. She is hungry for extra outside work and completes any task you ask of her, on her own time, finding time between her studies and multi-sport career. Aubrey’s energy and mindset is desirable for any pitcher. She is mentally strong, confident and thrives through adversity. Aubrey is also an incredible teammate and leader, and her teammates have the utmost respect and support for her. Her focus on the task at hand is handled with poise and confidence, never looking back, only looking ahead. This is the pitcher you want with all the pressure, knowing her teammates will have her back no matter what.   I am very aware Aubrey is a high-level athlete also as a utility player. Her bat, and her overall depth will find her in any lineup, as she has such a variety of talent to provide a team. Aubrey’s top strength is her ability to adapt and overcome any situation. She can self-correct, mentally adjust to any situation, and work harder than anyone else to the last pitch thrown, staying mentally tough the entire game regardless of the situation. She is starting to get more command with all her pitches and is currently focusing on developing speed, increasing her velocity 4-5 mph this year. She has a curveball, drop ball and changeup, alongside her fastball which she can all locate well. Any team will be lucky to have this well-rounded, smart, talented and respectful athlete. She will make your players better and provide your team with support and leadership all around, offensively, defensively and with her character.   I believe Aubrey can go very far in softball, as she currently exhibits love and passion for the game, as well as a hard work ethic and competitiveness within herself. It is a joy to work with her and to watch her play the game. Aubrey is and will continue to be a great pitcher. — Michelle Bettles, Hitting & Pitching Coach

Message from Aubrey

My name is Aubrey Rose and in 2029 I will be graduating from Yale Secondary School (BC, Canada), attending their softball academy. I am 5-foot-8 and primarily pitch, while also playing shortstop and 2nd base. I am focused on my athletics and my academics with a 4.0 GPA. Through my hard work, I will reach my goal of playing high-level college softball.   Athletics have always been important to me. I have been playing ball since I was 4 years old. I am a multi-sport athlete – also competing in soccer at the highest level attainable. I believe my fitness level is very high from my commitment to daily training. Softball has become my passion. I do 1-on-1 training with my private softball instructor on days that I don’t have team training. This includes pitching, hitting and fielding. I have trained in high-level throwing as well. I do daily home drills for pitching as well.   This year I was awarded the Female Athlete of the Year award at my school. I also received the Top Pentathlete award and Volleyball MVP. I received the Integrity Award from my club team for leadership and sportsmanship. My coaches have commended me for being a leader vocally and by displaying examples for others.   Outside of softball I enjoy playing volleyball, soccer and track & field. I aim to get stronger through strength and endurance training. Artistically, I love sketching and painting. I also enjoy volunteering in my extra time. I help out our local Meals on Wheels for people who need help getting daily meals. I also help younger kids with learning softball skills when I can.   Playing college softball is my dream, and I know through my hard work I will achieve this. Thank you for your time getting to know me, and I look forward to hearing from you.
