Alexis Ouellette

My name is Alexis Ouellette, and I will be graduating in 2028 from Galesville-Ettrick-Trempealeau (G-E-T) High School in Wisconsin. I am 5-foot-4 and 140 pounds, and I’m able to play most positions with my main strengths at catcher (1.71 pop, 58 mph arm), shortstop and third base. My current GPA is 3.86, and I want to major in education. I am a hard worker on and off the field – when I commit to something I really commit. I have a good heart and personality. When it comes to my educational and athletic goals, I have the will and mindset to achieve them. I batted .364 with 5 home runs and 28 RBIs to earn 1st-Team All-Conference as a freshman. I own a 2.90 20-yard dash time as well as an 11.0 Home-Home.   What makes me stand out is my hardworking mindset and my will to put in extra work when others don’t. After school, I lift weights, run and do softball-specific drills, including fielding and hitting. These workouts continue to improve my strength for hitting, throwing and speed, along with getting the muscle memory down for when I’m on the field. Last summer, I was one of two captains for my travel ball team. In addition, I was asked to play with the 18U Gold Gamblers travel team at NAFA Northern Nationals. I started every game in that tournament, playing 3B and catcher. We tied for 8th place out of 72 teams.   In my free time, I volunteer at my local church, hang out with my friends or teammates, and I also umpire (which has taught me to look at the game in a different way).
