Evaluations

Alana Keevers is a golfer to watch in the 2027 class. She’s playing #1 on varsity as a sophomore after making 1st-Team All-Conference as a freshman. Alana also shot 88-86 to finish top-40 at the State Tournament her freshman season. This summer she placed runner-up in the 1st flight of the WI Girls Match Play Championship following an 80 in the qualifying round.   Alana thrives under pressure and looks forward to new challenges on the course. She currently drives the ball 225 yards and hits 70% of fairways. I expect her to bring her scoring average into the low 80s as she continues working on her putting and consistency.   A dedicated teammate and student (3.8 GPA), Alana is also very involved off the course. She participates in DECA, SALT club, chamber choir and theater. — Jon Feyen, ScoutU Golf Scout, Jon@ScoutU.com, 920-979-3093

Message from Alana

My name is Alana Keevers, and I am a 2027 graduate at Union Grove Union H.S. in Wisconsin. I am continually working on both my game and my education, and I am confident that my commitment, passion and discipline make me an ideal candidate to play collegiate golf. During my sophomore season, I made 1st-Team All-Conference, was named All-County Player of the Year and finished 22nd (80-87) at the State Tournament. I have maintained a strong academic record (3.8 GPA) with high honors, demonstrating my dedication to balancing the demands of extracurricular activities and academics.   Over the years I have competed in numerous competitions, gaining valuable experience while improving my skills with each event. A few of my proudest achievements include playing #2 on varsity my freshman year, qualifying for the 2023 WIAA Championship and finishing runner-up in the First Flight at the 2024 WPGA Girls Junior Tournament. I am the defending Women’s Club Champion at Kenosha Country Club, having competed against women of all ages the past two years. I continue to look for ways to improve my game with direction from my high school coach as well as an outside coach who helps me hone my golf skills.   In addition to sports, I earned a coveted spot in the Chamber Choir and Theater. Last year I was selected for a solo lead in each of our choir performances, as well as a supporting lead in our spring musical. Furthermore, our Chamber Choir performed at Disney World this winter. These accomplishments reflect my team-player attitude and determination to grow and succeed under pressure.   As captain for the varsity golf team, I value my role as a leader and aim to exhibit the qualities it takes to motivate and encourage my teammates. One of our team goals is to display the highest level of sportsmanship through modeling. Multi-tasking is also a skill I possess and demonstrate by the commitment I continually make in all of my activities, both at school and beyond. What excites me most about the future is the opportunity to play at a collegiate level on an outstanding golf program while receiving a world-class education. I am eager to contribute to the success of the team, furthering my development both as a student and as an athlete.   Thank you for reviewing my profile. I look forward to the possibility of discussing how I may bring value to your program.
