Evaluations

In her youth soccer career, Adria has competed at the highest level, representing her club on the national stage at the Canadian National Tournament this past summer. She also gained invaluable experience playing for the U21 Calgary Wild in League 1, where she regularly competes with and against highly accomplished women’s players.   As a versatile midfielder, Adria is capable of excelling in the 6, 8 or 10 roles, showcasing her strong game knowledge and tactical understanding. She possesses exceptional technical ability, an explosive change of pace to join the attack, and an impressive passing range that enables her to maintain possession for her team. Beyond the field, Adria is a disciplined student with aspirations of pursuing a career in law. She would be a fantastic addition to any team at the next level. — Mackenzie Schissel, ScoutU Soccer Scout, Mackenzie@ScoutU.com, 256-283-1160   Adria Solis is an accomplished midfield player, excelling in central midfield but also capable of playing wider. However, she has that unique capability to play as a 6, 8 or 10 making her an invaluable member of the roster.   She has a high soccer IQ. Reading the game is a major strength of hers, allowing her to make interceptions with ease, and she has the ability to make line-breaking passes when in possession of the ball. Adria is right-footed, though shoots and passes with both feet, but her right-footed delivery from set pieces is a huge asset.   Adria’s speed, stamina and strength help make her the ideal midfield player. She will be a success at collegiate level. — Alan Rickwood, Edge School Director of Soccer

Message from Adria

My name is Adria Solis, a 2026 recruit from Alberta, Canada. I am a starter for the Calgary Wild FC U21 Team in League1 Alberta, which is a semi-professional league. League1 is sanctioned by Canada Soccer as a third division pro-am league in Canada. Our team finished third in the division for the 2024 season. I also train as part of the Calgary Wild Academy Program. In the classroom, I maintain a 4.0 GPA.   I am a versatile midfielder with a sharp eye and an extraordinary range of passing and dribbling ability. I often see things on the pitch that no one else can, assessing my options and the space around me well before receiving the ball. My keen game sense and vision allow me to cause maximum damage to either play an exceptional pass or take a shot with either foot. I aim to play university soccer while studying at a school where I can learn and play to my full potential. I can easily adapt to any position – whether that means sprinting up the field for a through ball or knowing when to break lines towards the goal. I can perfectly place a corner kick to create goal-scoring opportunities for my team or score myself. I’m not afraid to use my strength in a physical battle, challenging the opposition for possession and using my well-developed technical skills to control the midfield and carry attacks forward.   I also play as a starter for the Rangers W APDL 08 in the Alberta Professional Development League (APDL), which is the highest level of youth soccer in the province. My team is the APDL 2025 U17 League Champions and we competed in Canada Soccer’s 2025 PDP National Championship. In addition, my team won the APDL 2025 Indoor Championship and 2024 Alberta Cup Championship.   I am also fluent in Spanish and French. As a dedicated hardworking player, I always strive to lead by example on and off the pitch and put in 110% effort in everything I do. I look forward to discussing your college soccer program!
