Bobby McEwen was born in Edmonds, Wa., played baseball at Gonzaga University, owns a baseball academy (Club Nine Baseball), has coached baseball for 17 years at the club and college level and was signed by the Milwaukee Brewers as an undrafted free agent.

Bobby grew up in Snohomish and Mill Creek, Wa. He graduated from Henry M. Jackson High School in 2002 where he was 1st-Team All-Conference during his junior and senior years as a pitcher. Bobby went on to play one season at Midland Junior College (Texas) where they finished ranked No. 6 in the nation. In 2003, he transferred to Gonzaga University, where he played 4 years and graduated with a degree in marketing. In 2008, Bobby was signed by the Brewers.

Bobby has coached 12U-18U select baseball clubs, Archbishop Murphy High School (Wa.), Edmonds-Woodway High School (Wa.), and Shoreline Community College where he also helped with recruiting. For 7 years, Bobby has worked with athletes of all ages through his academy (Club Nine Baseball) that has produced many college and professional athletes. Throughout Bobby’s coaching experience, there’s been a focus on getting athletes to the next level that included working with scouts and college coaches. He’s helped mentor kids that went on to Oregon State, Kansas State, Washington, Washington State, Whitworth College (D2), along with many more.

Outside of baseball, Bobby has spent time as a mortgage consultant, a national sales manager for uniforms, equipment and apparel and worked in his family’s remodeling company. He currently resides in Bothell (Wa.) with my wife, Lyndsey, and two kids who are 12 and 7.
