evaluations

Maddie Croxford is a LEGIT 2022 RHP/MIF from Gallatin, TN and the Tennessee Fury. She’s a hard-working, hard-charging, student-athlete who will certainly turn heads. Consistent velocity in the circle at 57-58 and will touch 61 on occasion. She’s only going to get better as she continues to grow and develop. Very athletic and an exceptional MIF as well. Maddie can also swing it too with a high OBP suitable for a 1-2-hole type kid. Freshman year she received 2nd-Team All-County honors and was awarded her high hchool team’s Rookie of the Year. She’s gonna be special and will compete for a spot on nearly any roster.

MESSAGE FROM MADDIE

Hello, my name is Maddie Croxford, and I am a 2022 graduate from Station Camp High School in Gallatin, Tennessee. I play travel ball for Fury 03 McElroy. In my freshman year, I was awarded 2nd-All-County team as a pitcher (58-60 mph fastball) and earned Rookie of the Year. My main positions are pitcher and MIF, but I have spent time in the outfield as well. As a pitcher, my best qualities are explosiveness and being aggressive. I love the game of softball, as it gives me a sense of leadership and teaches me many life lessons on how to be the best teammate, friend, and competitor as I can be.

Academics also are very important to me. I have a 3.57 GPA, taking all honors courses thus far. The game of softball has taught me so many things, including time management, how to stay on top of my studies and how to properly take care of my body.

My best qualities would be my hard work and dedication. I have always been told by my coaches that my hard work, positive attitude, and humor is what makes me stand out as a player. No matter what, I am always striving to learn new things and improve in all areas, whether that be my hitting, pitching or even simple glove techniques. I will always put forth my best effort to help my team be as successful as it can be, whether I’m in the field playing, in the batters box or cheering them on from the dugout. My favorite part of the game, besides the competition, is the bond that is created between teammates and the moment you start to feel more like sisters than friends.

Thank you so much for taking time to check out my profile and learning a little about me. I look forward to hearing from you!
