Alexander Eckstein

My name is Alexander Eckstein, and I am from Cardinal Mooney HS in Youngstown, Ohio. I graduate in 2026 and currently carry a 3.44 GPA. One of my top accomplishments in my career was when I placed 2nd at the State Championship as a senior (75-70) and as a sophomore. I also placed 9th at State as a junior. I have made All-State as a senior (1st-Team), junior (2nd Team) and sophomore (1st Team). My scoring average is 74, my driving distance is 285 yards and my swing speed is 113 mph. The major strength of my game is my ability to fight for a round – no matter how good or bad I may be playing.   What makes me a unique athlete is that I will never quit. I pride myself in always grinding through the hard days and stretches. Outside of tournament golf, I practice on the driving range and at the short game area for at least 2.5 hours every day. If I feel like a part of my game is holding me back, I will practice that aspect for at least twice the amount of time I spend on the other aspects of my game.   I am a Co-Captain for my high school team, while having completed 9 honors courses and 2 AP courses in which I’ve received college credits for. I am also in the process of becoming a licensed pilot. I soloed on my 16th birthday and currently have over 100 hours of flying time towards my private pilot license.   Thank you for taking the time to view my profile and I hope we can talk soon.
