Abby Ney-Hawley, who lives in and grew up in Fort Collins, Colo., is deeply connected to its athletic community. A 4-year collegiate volleyball player and 2-year captain at Colorado Mesa University, Abby learned the discipline, resilience and leadership required to excel at the college level. She earned two All-American honors and was named Colorado Mesa University’s Athlete of the Year, achievements that reflect her deep understanding of what it takes to play at the next level.

After her collegiate career, Abby served as the Director of Operations and Recruiting Coordinator for CMU volleyball. In that role, she evaluated and recruited athletes, communicated with families and coordinated high-level program logistics. She also organized summer camps for hundreds of student-athletes, gaining valuable insight into identifying athletic potential and helping families navigate early stages of the recruiting process.

For the past 7 years, Abby has worked as a teacher and coach in Fort Collins, serving as a physical education teacher at both the elementary and middle school levels. She also was the head volleyball coach at Lesher Middle School before stepping back to focus on her growing family. Her experience working with students of all backgrounds has helped her ability to connect with athletes and families in a meaningful and supportive way. Abby’s passion for helping young people succeed is the driving force behind her guiding athletes through the college recruiting process.

With a unique blend of collegiate athletic experience, recruiting expertise, teaching background and strong community relationships, Abby is dedicated to helping student-athletes find the best possible college fit (athletically, academically and personally). Abby resides in Fort Collins with her husband, Nate, daughter, Drew, and two bernedoodle dogs, Rio and Finn.
